L’Azure at The Crane Hotel is a spectacular spot to have lunch, high on a cliff-edge, overlooking the dazzling white sands of one of the island’s most beautiful beaches. As far as views go this can’t be beaten. The food is always good but it’s still standard hotel fare like club sandwiches so eating here is not going to break the bank. In fact we would even go to say that compared to other West Coast hotels, the prices are quite reasonable. Just make sure you go on a nice day because if the weather is not great or you can’t get a table outside (for what ever reason) it may not be worth the drive. Sunday’s gospel choir breakfast is probably the best thing you can do here but there are only two seatings, 9am and 10am. We have only seen gospel breakfasts once and that was in NYC’s Red Rooster in Harlem. So to do the same thing overlooking the stunning turquoise sea for 60 BDS a pop? Reserve. Now.
What can you lose? You have Crane Beach right under you to digest and the breeze is so perfect you’ll never overheat (but you might burn).
